Parliament approves the Commission proposal on reform of competition rules with some amendments

Strasbourg, 07/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Parliament approved with a large majority (409 to 54, with 25 abstentions) but with a certain number of amendments the Commission proposal aimed at reforming competition policy rules relating to restrictive agreements, decisions and concerted practices as well as abuse of dominant market position.
