07/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - A delegation from the European Parliament, headed by the Dutch socialist Jan Marinus Wiersma will leave for the Belarus on September 7, to monitor the presidential elections. This delegation forms a part of a long-term action for the restoration and development of democracy in Belarus, within the framework of the Parliamentary Troika for Belarus in co-operation with the Parliamentary Assemblies of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)...
