ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banking

FINAREF, the finance subsidiary of France's distribution company PPR - PINAULT - PRINTEMPS -REDOUTE and the Dutch banking group ABN AMRO have announced the signing of an agreement to jointly create a savings and individual customer savings bank. The new joint venture, BANQUE FINAREF-ABN AMRO will take shape through ABN AMRO taking a 49% stake in the BGC (BANQUE GENERALE DE COMMERCE).
