Brussels, 29/08/2001 (Agence Europe) - At an invitation from Mexico, the EU and the eighteen WTO member countries representing the different economic areas of the planet will be meeting on 31 August and 1 September in Mexico to continue preparations for the ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organisation to be held in Qatar on 9 November. The EU will be represented at the meeting, to follow that in Geneva in July, by Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy.
