Paris, 27/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - In a press release, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) calls on the European Commission to renounce its approach consisting in wanting to have the law of the consumers' country apply in electronic commerce dispute cases. Appealing in favour of application of the law of the country of origin of the goods and services sold, the ICC insists that the current approach by the European Executive could smother transactions of the "business to consumer"...
