The French producer of fresh vegetables ready for use SOLECO has acquired its Spanish counterpart VEGA MAYOR (turnover EUR 34 million in 2000 with 500 employed and a production capacity of around 13,000 tonnes). With this acquisition, the amount of which has not been disclosed, SOLECO should increase its combined turnover from FF 911 million to almost FF 1.3 billion in 2001.
