The German group ENBW, held at 34.5% by French EDF, has announced its plan to acquire the energy business of the Swiss LONZA GROUP, including debts. The operation, costing an estimated CHF 484 million, should be settled in a few months. It will allow ENBW to strengthen and develop the LONZA ENERGIE activities that will take another name and will operate as an independent Swiss company.
