Commission takes Ireland, Great Britain, France and Spain to Court

Brussels, 20/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is continuing its proceedings against four Member States that have incorrectly applied directives concerning the internal market:

  • Freedom of establishment of lawyers: The Commission has decided to take action before the Court of Justice against France, Ireland and Spain for not having applied Directive 98/5 by the deadline of 14 March 2000.
