Luxembourg, 20/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - According to Eurostat, regional unemployment rates within the EU and the Central and Eastern European candidate countries (CEECs) still presented great disparities last year. In the Union, they varied from 1.7% in the region of Aland, in Finland, to 33.1% in the Reunion, French overseas territory.
