Commission co-finances 94 new nature protection projects - 80 million euro under Life Nature

Brussels, 19/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has selected 94 new nature protection projects eligible for Community co-financing under the financial instrument Life Nature for the period 2000-2001. 79.5 million euro have thus been released for projects in the Union's Member States and five candidate countries for accession (Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Romania and Slovenia), implementation of which will require a total investment of 152 million euro.
