The German DEUTSCHE TELEKOM is interested in the acquisition of a stake in the activities of KERTEL, subsidiary of the French PPR - PINAULT-PRINTEMPS-REDOUTE, which markets general public telecommunications services (notably pre-paid phone cards). This activity represents half of the FF 224 million KERTEL turnover in 2000.
