The company BEGHIN-SAY (turnover of EUR 1.9 billion in 1000), formed from the scission of the Franco-Italian foodstuffs group ERIDANIA BEGHIN-SAY, took control of the Brazilian sugar company ACUCAR GUARANI (turnover of EUR 130 million in 2000) from the TRILUX group.
