Details of agreement on energy labelling

Brussels, 09/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The agreement between the Union and the United States aimed at coordinating labelling programmes for energy efficiency of office equipment appeared in the Official Journal No L172. This edition exchanges diplomatic notes on the arrangements for implementation during the initial five-year period, possibly renewable. Energy efficiency specifications and a common logo - "Energy Star" - will be used on both sides of the Atlantic in the context of this...
