On Wednesday, Commission to examine a voluntary agreement with automobile industry to improve pedestrian protection

Brussels, 09/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner for Industry, Erkki Liikanen, will on Wednesday propose that the Commission approve a voluntary agreement concluded by the automobile industry to lessen the risk of injury and death in case of a frontal shock between a pedestrian and the front of a car.
