Brussels, 09/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the French firm Alcatel to take over the whole of Alcatel Space, a joint-venture it held with Thales and which it is already said to control. To do so, Alcatel will purchase the 48.83% stake held by Thales.
