02/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The EU's Committee of the Regions and the Russian Federation Council, composed of representatives of Russian regions and republics, are to sign by the end of the year a declaration of intent to encourage the exchange of information and partnerships between their members, it was announced by the Committee of the Regions during a visit to Moscow by its president, Jos Chabert.
