EUR 11 million humanitarian aid to victims of conflicts affecting region

Brussels, 02/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - On 29 March, the European Commission adopted an intervention plan with EUR 11 million in order to help Sierra Leon to face the persistent humanitarian needs. The funds will be allocated by ECHO, the EU humanitarian office, to partner organisations working in the country, and will enable to continue to bring support to the victims of the present crisis throughout the year.
