The AGF - ASSURANCES GENERALES DE FRANCE (net profits by the group of EUR 845 million in 2000, increase of 26.7% compared to the previous year) is, according to the daily De Standaard, interested in the bank NAGELMACKERS whose take-over will allow it to strengthen its banking activities regrouped under the name AGF BELGIUM BANK.
