14/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Parliamentary Troika (European Parliament and Assemblies of the Council of Europe and of the OSCE) noted after a visit to Belarus that this country has still not made sufficient progress in its efforts to meet the criteria required for holding free and fair elections. It made it clear that it will be following the partial elections of 18 March very closely.
