In France, the Treasury gave its assent to the plan to create a 50-50 joint venture between DCN (former national marine arsenal) and THALES. This agreement gives rise to an entity provisionally named SSDN - SOCIETE DE SYSTEMES DE DEFENSE NAVALE).
