Brussels, 14/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The precautionary principle is at the heart of the strategy set out by the Commission in its White Paper for a new risk assessment and authorisation policy for chemical products, adopted on Tuesday in Strasbourg (see EUROPE of 12 and 13 February, p.9).
