The Dutch bank ABN AMRO has announced the sale of its American subsidiary EAB - EUROPEAN AMERICAN BANK to America's CITIBANK (CITIGROUP) for $1.6 bn. Based in he State of New York, EAB is active in the retail and business banking sector and has 97 branches in the State.
