EIB loans advanced for solid waste management and electricity (totalling EUR 70 million)

Luxembourg, 29/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank granted two loans for a total of EUR 70 million in Tunisia:

A loan of EUR 25 million is granted to the Republic of Tunisia for developing solid waste management over the whole of its territory. It will contribute to the funding of all phases of the project, from study to construction, implemented by the Tunisian National Environmental Protection Agency (ANPE).
