Strasbourg, 27/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - By adopting a report by Salavdor Jove Perez, the European Parliament moved in favour of in-depth modifications of the reform of the common market organisation (CMO) for fruit and vegetables proposed by the European Commission. The Parliament calls for increased support to the producers and producer organisations. In particular it calls for the Community aid ceiling to operational funs to be increased to 4.5% (instead of 3% in the Commission proposal)...
