ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The Italian insurer UNIPOL ASSICURZIONI has made a public bid for the remaining capital of the insurer MEIE ASSICURAZIONI in which it already has a majority stake. The bid is for 48.64% of the capital at 2,710 lira a share. UNIPOL will pay out 303.6 bn lira should the bid succeed.
