TIMES INC, publishing subsidiary of the American group TIME WARNER, is to pay the TRIBUNE COMPANY $475 million for the magazine group TIMES MIRROR ($279 million turnover in 1999). The sale mainly comprises specialised reviews in the sports sector ("Golf", "Ski", "Yachting", etc.).
