Luxembourg, 24/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - At Monday's Agriculture Council, Commissioner Franz Fischler presented ministers with several ideas for simplifying the Common Agricultural Policy. The Council approved them, and, in its conclusions, also welcomed the Commission's intention of setting up an ad hoc working group responsible for coordinating the work on simplification.
