ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) packaging

In France, SABATE (corks; turnover of Euro 81.6 million in 1999) is negotiating a merger with DIOSOS (turnover Euro 98.4 million in 1999/2000). This transaction would take the form of a share exchange offer at end of which SABATE would take over DIOSOS. The new group would be active in the production of wine casks and wine bottling.
