Swiss NESTLE has signed a letter of intent with SNOW BRAND MILK PRODUCTS CO LTD, a Japanese milk products producer, with a view to concluding an alliance with the latter that could take the form of a shareholding. NESTLE's Japanese activities in 1999 made a turnover of CHF 3.4 billion.
