Green light for take-over of Frosch Touristik (FTI) by Airtours plc

Brussels, 31/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission authorised the take-over of the German travel agent Frosch Touristik GmbH (FTI) by the British tour operator Airtours plc that already held, since 1998, a stake of 38.8% in the company. The operation approved by the Commission enables the British company to increase its stake to 100%, giving it the exclusive control of FTI. The activities of the two companies only slightly overlap.
