Commission investigates aid to East German porcelain company Graf von Henneberg

Brussels, 14/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission opened a formal investigation on an aid of EUR 24 million paid to the East German porcelain producer Graf von Henneberg and asked for information from Germany on the use of another aid of EUR 30.7 million given to this company. Graf von Henneberg Porzellan has been in deficit since its privatisation in 1991.
