Industrial federation of 27 partner countries create a Euro-Mediterranean network, and want to contribute more directly to the Barcelona process - Companies of the southern bank announce their will to regroup in September already

Tunis, 15/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The federation of industrialists of the fifteen countries of the EU and the Mediterranean partners, meeting in Tunis on 12 and 13 May announced the official launch of the UNIMED-Business network, in which the European Commission is providing its support with a financial contribution of 2.5 million euro (out of a total of 3.4 million euro). Their dialogue will continue with first a meeting in Turkey, and then in Egypt.
