The French barrel manufacturer FRANCOIS FRERES (FF 325 million turnover in 1998/99) has created a 50/50 joint venture in Hungary with TRUST INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION, operation in which it will invest close to $5 million. The new entity should have a turnover of FF 50 million for the 2000/2001 financial year.
