Brussels, 27/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - Stuart Eizenstat, US Under-Secretary for the Treasury, will be in Brussels next Tuesday for talks with Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy and other Community officials. EUROPE has reason to believe it will be a question, among other things, of the so-called Foreign Sales Corporations affair, that is, the tax exemption system reserved to American sales businesses abroad, a practice which the WTO recently declared unlawful (see EUROPE of 25 February).
