Swiss group ROCHE has announced the sale of its medical additives unit for animal feed to ALPHARMA, a pharmaceutical company based in the United States. The amount of this transaction is approximately $300 million. The division sold, which markets products used in the breeding of cattle and poultry for the prevention and treatment of animal diseases, represents a sales volume of $200 million.
