Experts from Member States postpone by six months their vote on authorising the placing on the market of three transgenic plants (two swede-rapes and one fodder beet)

Brussels, 10/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Brussels on Thursday to examine requests for the placing on the market of three genetically modified plants, in the light of additional information provided by the manufacturers, the experts of the Member States, sitting in the relevant regulatory committee, unanimously decided to postpone their vote by six months.
