Divergences between Parliament and European Commission over discharge for 1998 budget

Brussels, 10/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The discharge procedure for the 1998 budget looks difficult. The European Commissioner to the budget Michaele Schreyer will go before the European Parliament's budgetary monitoring committee for the investigation by this committee of the draft resolution by the German MEP Gabriel Stauner (EPP) that will be on the agenda of the plenary in April.
