Britain's POWERGEN plans to sell all its international activities outside the United States along with a British power station for more than GBP 1 billion, reports the Sunday Telegraph. These operations will enable it to finance acquisition of the American group LG&E for USD 3.2 billion. See EI of 28&29 February.
