Galileo and third generation mobile communications at heart of Istanbul Conference for which Commission will propose a common position

Brussels, 07/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission called on Member States to join to defend common Community positions at the next World Radiocommunications Conference WRC-2000. The Conference will take place from the 8 May till the 2 June in Istanbul and will determine the attribution, the share and the interoperability of frequencies and radioelectric spectrum for numerous applications in the field of telecommunications.
