Brussels, 11/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - Optimism among the heads of European businesses, confidence in the results of companies and thus a favourable economic climate for the year 2000: this is what emerges from Eurochambres Economic Survey 2000 (Association of European chambers of commerce and industry), presented in Brussels on Thursday by its president Jorg Mittelsten Scheid, in the presence of the European Commissioner for employment Anna Diamantopoulou.
