Role of interim bodies responsible for EU defence and security policy

Brussels, 11/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - As we have already indicated (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.3) The General Affairs Council must decide on Monday over the creation of interim bodies which will be responsible for the European Union's security and defence policy, while awaiting the creation of the permanent bodies. Certain questions are still to be finalised by the Ministers themselves, concerning , in particular, the bodies who will be giving the instructions to the future military...
