Cross-border infrastructure: European Commission launches a new call for proposals worth €600 million

30/04/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 30 April, the European Commission launched a new call for proposals (https://aeur.eu/f/lro ) under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), with a budget of €600 million for cross-border energy infrastructure projects. This call is open to Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) and Projects of Mutual Interest (PMIs) included in the EU PCI and PMI list. This is the first call for proposals under the second EU PCI/PMI list, which identifies cross-border energy infrastructure projects selected under the Trans-European Networks for Energy Regulation. The call for proposals will remain open until 30 September. (CG)
