‘General Affairs’ Council, invited on 17 March to prepare discussion of EU27 on future Multiannual Financial Framework

The European Affairs Ministers of the EU27 will meet in Brussels on Tuesday 17 March to prepare for the European Summit on 19 and 20 March, on the basis of the latest conclusions, and in particular the expected discussion on the 2028-2034 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), in particular on the aspects linked to governance and own resources.

The Ministers will also hold an exchange of views on a summary report on the EU Council’s contributions to the 2026 ‘European Semester’...
