European Commission sets out financial arrangements for launch of ETIAS system

On Monday 16 February, the European Commission adopted a delegated regulation setting out the arrangements for financial support to EU Member States for the implementation of ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System). This automated system is intended for visa-exempt third-country nationals seeking to enter the Schengen area.
