EU Council appoints Jennifer Vanderputten and Pavel Zeman as European Prosecutors for Belgium and Czech Republic

11/02/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 11 February, the EU Council appointed two new prosecutors to the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO): Jennifer Vanderputten for Belgium and Pavel Zeman for the Czech Republic. European public prosecutors, who together with the European Chief Prosecutor form the College of the EPPO, supervise investigations and prosecutions.
