On Wednesday 4 February, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) voted by secret ballot in favour of appointing François-Louis Michaud (French) as Chair of the European Banking Authority (EBA), replacing José Manuel Campa (Spanish), who resigned for personal reasons (see EUROPE B13710A29).
