European Parliament denounces mass abduction of children

18/12/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 18 December, with 519 votes in favour, 2 against and 50 abstentions, MEPs adopted a resolution condemning the mass kidnapping of children in Nigeria, in particular at the St Mary’s Catholic School in Papiri, where 303 pupils were kidnapped on Friday 21 November. MEPs express their solidarity with the victims, their families and the communities affected.
