EU Council approves new tariff quotas between EU and Chișinău

18/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 18 September, the EU Council adopted the decision on the position to be taken within the EU-Moldova Association Committee on the liberalisation of trade between the two blocs. In July, the Commission proposed an extension of market access for Moldovan agricultural products not yet fully liberalised by the agreement (see EUROPE B13867A13). In the opposite direction, market access has also been extended to European poultry, pork and dairy products....
