EU imposes anti-dumping tariff on epoxy resin from China, Taiwan and Thailand

29/07/2025 (Agence Europe)

On Monday 28 July, the European Commission imposed an anti-dumping tariff on imports of epoxy resin from China, Taiwan and Thailand. This chemical is used to reinforce the strength and adhesion of objects, and is used in many construction and transport products, as well as in a variety of everyday objects. Epoxy resin is particularly strategic for the production of wind turbines. The anti-dumping investigation initiated in 2024 has already led to provisional measures in February 2025. The rate of the definitive tariff varies between 17.3% and 33% of the net border price for Chinese products, and between 10.8% and 11% for those from Taiwan. Epoxy resin from Thailand will be taxed at 29%. See the implementing regulation: https://aeur.eu/f/i1f (LM)
