Total VAT declared via one-stop shops increased by 26% between 2023 and 2024, according to European Commission

More than €33 billion in value added tax (VAT) revenue was collected in 2024 through the EU’s e-commerce VAT systems, according to a European Commission report published on Wednesday 23 July.
